Sabine Lake Fishing is Great lots of shrimp holding up in blacks bayou east pass and coffee ground cove fishing out going tides best in the midday lots of trout to 3 lbs trout 2ft to 4ft water on flat off the ICW keying on ladyfish to find the trout the shrimp are in the mud and trout mixed with the ladyfish shrimp moving in and out with the tides. Fishing the middle of the lake 6ft to 7ft water over shell bottom keying on shad and shrimp speckled trout to 5 lbs also lots of redfish mixed in with the speckled trout. Birds working midday to late evening best on outgoing tides lots of trout and redfish mixed in also on this bite too. The Louisiana shore line holding lots of redfish to 10 lbs they coming in from the gulf feeding on the shrimp moving slowly to the gulf fishing on points deep drops and shell banks clam shell bottom and mud holding most of the fish lots of mullet and shad also on the shore lines speckled trout also in 3ft to 5ft eater im drifting on pads od shad also catch nice speckled trout. Flounder fishing is picking up fast fishing the bayous and points and eddies flounder have been in the deep parts of the bayous and off the banks on the Louisiana shore line 2ft to 4ft water flounder are on the move feeding up to head to the gulf best on outgoing tides also. Sabine Pass ship channel fishing is also great I catching nice speckled trout to 4 lbs 2ft to 6ft water best on incoming tides keying on mullet and shrimp also fishing shell banks in coming tide best bite for me. Sabine pass jetties still good for redfish and speckled trout and the white gulf trout have showed up at the jetties in good numbers also.
