Sabine Lake Fishing is Great with spring here now the weather getting much better and the water stopped coming down from the Neches river/Sabine river. Fishing up north off the I C W flats to east pass nice redfish and flounder fishing and trout to 3# fishing on the flats 2ft to 4ft water keying on mullet east pass holding nice redfish and flounder and few trout also in blacks bayou coffee ground cove redfish/speckled trout over shell bottom and soft mud best on outgoing tides. Fishing is very good on north and south Levee Speckled Trout fishing is improving drifting off the rocks birds working mid day with speckled trout and redfish mixed in. Louisiana shore line fishing is good drifting 2ft to 6ft water out from points bayous and shell banks keying on mullet. The South end of Sabine Lake fishing is good on shell reef nice speckled trout to 4# fishing 4ft to 12ft water keying on glass minnows and small shrimp birds working early morning best on incoming tides. The Spring Flounder Run has started and I am catching nice Flounder to 4# (10 Fish Limit Per Person) Sabine pass ship channel fishing is picking up nice flounder on points and deep drops 4ft to 12ft speckled trout fishing improving in the channel light house cove is improving best on incoming tides. Sabine Jetties fishing is good lots of redfish and nice drum and sheep head fishing holding very close to the rocks in coming tides best.
