Also the ribbon fish are showing up and the bigger trout are running them. The Louisiana shore line is still great for flounder. The first 2 weeks of the month the bite has slowed down as the water is warming up. The sabine pass ship channel is producing some speckled trout to 6 lbs when the wind is not too strong. The sabine jetties is great fishing for bigger trout to 7 lbs - we have had limits when the wind lays; best bait is top water early and then glow/chart 1/4 jig.
