Sabine Lake fishing is good we have birds working over shrimp still on the north end of sabine also mid lake with the fronts coming in the trout and redfish are following the shrimp out to the gulf. My best baits Browns Amber and glow/chart Devil Eye Rigged with 1/4 browns New Truloc jigheads casting the bait and slow rolling it on the bottom also fishing with the stanley new popping shrimp rigged with Stanley 5.0 v-lock keeper hook rigged on midcoastcorks tipped with fishbite shrimps strips. I am also fishing the Louisiana shoreline of sabine the redfishing has been great fishing the deep drops 2 to 4ft water key on mullet and sight fishing these fish most all the redfish we are catching are 22 to 28 inch my best bite is on outgoing tide the reds are pushing the mullet to the bank. My color has been redshad and black/chart brown devil eye. Speckled trout also have showed on shell mud flats as the shrimp leave they are feeding on more bait i am fishing these flats catching some nice trout to 5 lbs when the weather will let me fish these flats i am drifting 3 to 7ft water keying on mullet fishing slow with 1/8 jigs bessie height marsh fishing has been good for flounder with the warmer days these fish have are moving around feeding on bait with flounder to 2 lbs. The redfish also moving feeding with the flounder most of the Redfish are 20- 28 inch my best bait has been Fishbites Xtreme New Penny Scent Release Saltwater. 3.5 inch shrimp fished with 1/8 jigs. Sabine pass channel holding some drum and sheephead and redfish the sabine jetties great fishing for bull redfish and lots of sheephead and drum best bait crab or peeled shrimp fishing on the bottom.

Sabine Lake Fishing is as Good As it gets we are fishing up birds working over shrimp and boxing limits of speckled trout and redfish we are fishing 2 to 4 ft water early morning bite has been close to the bank on drops trout to 6 lbs feeding on shrimp and mullet. My best bait Brown devil eye Pearl/chart Rigged with the new 1/8 Truloc Jigheads. This Has Been The pattern when the winds go southeast. The cold fronts are coming in 2 per week with this we are also boxing Speckled trout and redfish on Stanley Glow/Chart Shrimp Wedge Tails tiped with fishbites shrimp under the birds this bite has been best on out going tide. I am fishing Bessie Height Marsh and Black bayou on the flats we are catching redfish and trout also sight fishing the reds fishing mid coast corks using the stanley shrimp wedge shrimp tail rigged with the WHS 4/0 weedless hooks The Flounder Fishing is good we are catching limits of Flounder as fronts keep coming in the flounder fishing will get better in the Sabine pass channel. The cold fronts will come in more next month and the redfish will move to open lake under the birds.

Fishing on Lake Sabine is as good as it gets we are boxing limits of Speckled Trout to 5 lbs under birds chasing shrimp from the north end of sabine lake to the south end and redfish mixed in also to 10 lbs. My best bait is Stanley wedge tail shrimp lime and brown lure devils eye copperhead fished under the midcoast corks outcast tipped with fishbites shrimp. Also fishing with 3/8 jigs and brown lure pearl color has been great fishing on the botton slowing rolling this bait. The flounder run is in full swing we are catching good Flounder to 4 lbs on the shorelines up north end of sabine and the Louisiana bank. The sabine pass channel is holding good numbers of flounder in 2 to 4 ft water my best bait glow/chart reaction chub minnows. Speckled trout are feeding on shrimp and mullet on the shoreline and the south and north levee walls I am sight fishing these fish best bite on oncoming tide. Sabine Pass jetties is great fishing right now for bull redfish also drum and sheepshead.

Sabine Lake fishing is good, we are over the storm and reds and flounder have started moving on the points and cuts. LSU chub minnow/stanley wedge tail glow/chart shrimp tipped with fishbite shrimp has worked best. Sabine Pass jetties are producing speckled trout 2 to 5 lbs. along the rocks and the beach. Best bait has been brown lures sea devil glow using 3/8 jig. Also fishing the east and west in the gulf is still good for trout.
After Ike passed through the fishing has picked up better than expected with. Birds are working mid to south end of the lake procuding limits of slot reds. The Louisiana shoreline is holding good numbers of flounder while the Sabine Pass Channel drop offs are holding a mix of speckled trout and flounder. The surf and jetties are also good for specks right now.

Sabine lake fishing is good the birds working on the north end of the lake over shrimp and ribbon fish lots of small trout but some trout to 3 lbs and redfish mixed in. Fishing with brown lures Sea devil glow working it in fast like a ribbon fish w/1/4 jig and also top water when the wind will lay Midday bite has been 6 to 7 ft water drifting over shell in midlake fishing with midcoast products outcast corks rigged with stanley wedge tail shrimp and reactions chub minnows tipped with fishbites shrimp drifting over bait and keyed on mullet and shad The Louisiana Shore line has been producing good number of flounder with all the rain we have had this got them moving out of the marshes getting ready for the fall flounder run we had flounder to 6 lbs also had good number of 2 to 3 lbs on points and the cuts my best bait has been fishbites Xtream scent 3.5" new penny/glitter and brown lures Cajun Pepper Sea Devil tipped with fishbites shrimp. The flounder are feeding on shad and mullet 2 to 4 ft water i am fishing deeper banks also catching nice redfish to 8 lbs mixed in the the flounder. Sabine pass channel is holding flounder also good fishing there on outgoing tide. we have had lots of water come down from the north and the fishing at the jetties has been great for speckled trout to 5 lbs the first 2 weeks with limits then the trout went to the gulf i have been working the short rigs in the gulf east west and up to 12 miles offshore having great trips on Speckled trout to 7 lbs my best bait glow/chart stanley shrimp and Browns Glow Sea Devil the fishing out there has been great with lots of trout 3 to 7 lbs.

Sabine jetties fishing is great for speckled trout redfish i am fishing the rocks with stanley wedge tail shrimp glow/chart with 1/4 jigs the beach front is holding good numbers of speckled trout under birds feeding over shrimp the short rigs 6 miles east of sabine jetties holding good trout to 7 lbs the sharks have been bad some days but bigger trout holding on the bottom fishing with 3/8 jig LSU rections chub minnow and glow/chart the sabine channel holding speckled trout and flounder 2 to 6 ft water i am looking for mullet/shad off points. louisiana shoreline fishing bait and slicks boxing good trout to 4 lbs and fishing the deeper water off the bank. Fishing has been great to the north with bigger trout fishing in the ICW on live mullet/shad fishing 4 to 10 ft water on the bottom also fishing with fishbites Xtream Scent 3.5" shrimp w/ midcoast corks drifting over mussel flats and shell pads 2 to 4ft water on the north end and the new pipeline in the lake catching trout and redfish.

Sabine fishing is great we are finding the birds working early morning best bait stanley shrimp wedge tails with 1/4 jigs after the morning bite I am fishing the north level rocks throwing the inticer cork with fishbites Xtream scent release 3.5" New penny/glitter right to the rocks and popping the cork fast. Also fishing the corks in open water fishing bait on top in the middle of the lake and the same pattern at the sabine jetties along the rocks with stanley wedge tail shrimp tipped with fishbites shrimp.
The midday bite is good in 5 to 10 foot water off the icw on the flats up north also we have had to fish live bait to catch these fish up to 7 lbs. Louisiana shoreline holding good numbers of flounder and redfish, I am fishing the slicks close to the bank boxing good trout to 5 lbs. Sabine pass channel and the sabine jetties is great we are catching good number on trout and redfish along the rocks and the short rigs are also holding good numbers on speckled trout.

Sabine lake fishing is great we have been fishing the south end and midlake birds working on the end of high tides still on most days speckled trout feeding on shrimp and ribbion fish we are catching limits of trout to 2 to 4 lbs under these birds my best bait 3-1/2 stanley wedge tail shrimp tipped with fishbites 1/4 jig also fishing the north and south walls catching bigger trout we have been catching trout to 6 lbs alone the walls these fish are running mullet my best bait is stanley wedge tail 5" rigged with the frog hook fishing right in the rocks also topwater has been great this bite is early morning i am moving to the louisiana shoreline fishing for flounder redfish these fish are feeding on shrimp and shad also bigger trout pushing mullet and shad to the bank we are boxing good trout fishing slicks 2 to 4 ft water close to the bank redfish have showed up in good numbers with these trout feeding on shad and shrimp they have been in the marshes with the high tides we are now boxing limits of redfish i have been fishing the midcoast outcast and inticer corks rigged with Xtreme 3.5" fishbites scent shrimp baits we can throw the corks a long way fishing the slicks and the banks they are the best i have ever fished with. sabine pass channel holding good numbers of speckled trout and flounder i am fishing shorelines and points 2 to 10ft water over shell bottom sabine pass jetties holding good numbers of redfish and speckled trout june will be a better month for speckled trout fishing we will be fishing the sabine jetties and the beach and the short rigs will start holding go number of big trout. i did see some triple tail at the jetties this month hope we can get that fishing back if the winds will lay.

Sabine Lake fishing is improving with the high tides coming in the system we still are sight fishing our redfish on the louisiana shoreline my best bait stanley wedge tails tiped with fish bit shrimp/crab this is great fishing watching these redfish feed on mullet the flounder fishing has improved this month we are catching flounder to 5 lbs on the incoming tides in sabine lake and the sabine pass channel my best bait is the new (3.5" Fish bite Xtreme white/glow shrimp) baits with scent release these baits are made very tough and last longer then the other brands i have used and they work very well on flounder and Redfish in the lake marsh sabine pass jetties fishing also with 1/4 jigs work the best.
The fishing on sabine lake for speckled trout is picking up we are boxing limits of Speckled trout 17 to 20 inches and also catching bigger trout to 7 lbs on the south end of sabine lake fishing over shell i am drifting 2 to 6ft of water best bait redshade wedge tails tiped with fish bite shrimp when the water is off color when the water clears up on the incoming tides very green my best go to bait is the glow/chart reaction chub minnows fishing with 1/8 jigs and 1/4 and 3/8 jigs when the tide is very strong. Speckled trout fishing is also picking up in the sabine pass channel i and fishing with the same baits also fishing points and shell ponds the sabine pass jetties has been hit and miss for me we did go out a few times and caught redfish on the inside of the east and the west side the wind has been blowing so much i cant fish there like i would like to the will all change soon also fishing with fishbites Xtreme scent release 3.5" shrimp.

Sabine Lake fishing is good for redfish on the Louisiana side of the lake. I am able to still fish the redfish on the points and the cuts and still sight fishing them feeding on mullet on the shoreline the weather has been bad i had to rebook some trips as the north west winds came in and the water coming down from the neches and the sabine river has push the fish to the south end of the lake and the speckled trout showed up on incoming tides as the shrimp also came with the high tides we are boxing good numbers of speckled trout 17 to 20 inch fishing over shell 6 to 12 ft of water drag fishing on the bottom with 1/4 jigs and on stronger tides go to 3/8 jig as the water clears the birds are also working over shrimp and redfish mixed in with them my best bait still redshad 3-1/2 wedge tails and tiped with fish bites shrimp the flounder bite has been improved we have had flounder to 5 lbs as we were drifting over shell for speckled trout the flounder fish is getting better by the day the sabine channel is holding some trout and flounder but the wind will not let me fish there much but that will all change in april as the fronts slow down.

sabine lake fishing is great first 2 weeks we fished the north end of sabine lake with the low tides we had great trips Redfish schooling under brids we are fishing with stanley wedge tails redshad and reactions chub minnows black/chart tiped with fishbites crab my best bite has been on incoming tide also i am fishing the north flats for speckled trout 2 to 4 ft water over shell and mussel drifting and keying on mullet catching trout to 5 lbs redshad and morning glory stanley wedge tail 3-1/2 inch tiped with fish bites shrimp i moved to the louisians shoreline and started fishing redfish catching limits of redfish 3 to 10 lbs we are sight fishing these redfish keying on mullet jumping fishing the deep banks of the louisiana shoreline we also are catching some nice speckled trout on sun shine days drifting 2 to 4 ft water my best go to bait redshad and glow/chart reaction with 1/8 jigs. flounder fishing is picking up we had 2 to 4 each trip last week all looks good for march the speckled trout fishing is going to get a lot better with bigger trout moving into sabine lake and the flounder run could start at any time.

Sabine Fishing is great we are fishing the north end of sabine lake the low tides have pushed the bigger speckled trout out of the marshes and on to the flats i am having great trips on speckled trout to 5 lbs I am drifting mussel flats keying on mullet jumping in 2 to 4 ft water my best bite is incoming tide. My best bait stanley Wedge Tail redshad and reactions black/chart chub minnows tipped with fish bites shrimp and 1/8 jig. Some birds have worked over schools of redfish in the middle of sabine lake we have had limits of redfish to 10 lbs. I also fished the louisiana shoreline all month the redfishing is great we have had great trips my best bite on incomming tide I am fishing the points shoreline keying on mullet my bait is stanley wedge tail electric blue/chart tail tipped with fish-bites shrimp/crab. The speckled trout fishing has slowed down the last 2 weeks of the month we have had hard northers come in and the rain has hurt us with the run off on the north end of the lake. February is going to be better month if we can get the wind to lay a little for speckled trout fishing.
