Captain Randy now offers guided duck hunting. The Sabine Gulf Coast is a winter home to numerous migratory waterfowl. We have many species of birds including teal, mallards and pintail. There are also plenty of geese from snows to Canadians that are there to fill the limit.
Around mid-September millions of blue wing teal will pour into the marsh on their annual southerly migration. The teal are fast flyers and their numbers are plentiful so be ready for some fast action shooting. As with any trip with Capt. Randy's Guide Service, your guide will insure that you are in the right place at the right time. You will be concealed in a comfortable blind while one of our retrieving dogs does all the leg work.
Regular duck season begins around the first of November and continues to the end of January. The hunting grounds are made up of shallow ponds and flooded flats with duck blinds putting the hunter up close and personal for the hunt. You will be provided with a guide who knows where the birds are going to be and a working dog to get them for you. So from trophy trout or the waterfowl trip of a life time call Capt Randy.
