If you have fished with Captain Randy in the past, please send your thoughts to the fishsabine.com web developer.

"I drove 800 plus miles from Canutillo Tx. to fish with Cpt. Randy. He took me on a 45 sec boat ride and put us on the fish. This trout was typical of what we caught. This is my second trip and will see him again in Oct."

- Wilbert Reid RET. MSG USA 82nd Airborne

"I just wanted to thank you for "putting us on the fish" on Mar.14th. We ate the filets that evening and had our first "half shell" redfish last night. It was delicious. I have told all my friends that booking with you is the way to go. Please forward me the new phone number to book your service. We want to go again before it gets too hot."

- First Mate, Ron L.

"My husband and I went on our first Sabine Lake fishing experience with Captain Randy in July and had a blast. My husband is a fly fishing guide on the San Juan River in New Mexico and he has not stopped talking about our fishing trip since we went. You see fast and furious fishing on TV and think I will never do that. We did and loved it while fishing with Captain Randy. We can still hear Captain Randy say keep fishing. Thanks Captain Randy."

- Evan and Travis G. - Farmington NM

"Al and I fished with Captain Randy on the 16th August , the winds had been primarily out of the west for several days before we fished so we were thinking it be would tough going. This was our first trip with Captain Randy. Wow, we had a great trip. Captain Randy not only put us on the fish but the vast amount of knowledge this guy has about the bay was remarkable. He shared a lot of good information and worked harder than any other guide I have fished with. By the end of our trip we had a nice box of fish and a lot of good information to remember. We are planning our next trip now. I would recommend Captain Randy to anyone wanting to have a good day on the water."

- Mike T.

"Had a great trip with Captain Randy. Caught fish and got good information on why fish do what they do. Great experience. Do yourself a favor and book a trip, you will not regret doing this."

- Al B. - Houston, TX

"Fishing with you guys was big time fun, "fast and furious fishing" is the real thing and not just wishful thnking. There are no surprises any longer, its the best trip around !!!........ from now on, its gonna be Fast and Furious Capt Randy Foreman and Sabine Lake fishing on the top of my best fishing days ever. Thanks again Capt Randy for a great trip, and puttin' us on the reds and trout. Looking forward to going out again soon."

- Chuck - Kingwood, TX

"Two good friends and I met up with Captain Randy for a morning of fishing on Sabine Lake last Friday. Wow what a great experience. Captain Randy knows how to put you on the fish and keep you on the fish. Captain Randy is very well known and works hard to make sure you have caught a bunch of fish. We had a great time and the clock just spun by as we were busy catching fish. A couple of times during the morning we were casting our rods at light speed pulling in the trout as fast as you could reel. Captain Randy at the helm was yelling at us, they're on the port; they're behind us; now they're on the starboard side. It was great. Once he told me, behind the boat; behind the boat; there REDS. I cast and immediately caught a really nice red. I asked him how he knew because I saw no sign of fish… He said, "because I'm good"... No doubt in my mind."

- Ken J.

"3 experienced fishing friends and I decided to leave the cold weather in Ohio and joined Captain Randy for a day fishing on Lake Sabine. We have been on many guided fishing tours before but have never been as satisfied with the experience as we were with Randy. He exerts a lot of effort and enthusiastically exercises his boat in an all-out effort to ensure his guests are able to catch their limit of fish. His vast knowledge of the local fishing area is easily apparent. We simply told him what type of fish we would like to catch, he fired up the boat, and put us on the fish ALL DAY. His sense of humor and friendly personality made it feel like we'd known him for years. After our outstanding day of fishing, he and his assistant eagerly cleaned all 70 or 80 lbs of trout, red fish, and flounder. I really can't say enough thanks to Captain Randy for the experience he provided. We'll never forget the fun times we had with him and will definitely return."

- John H. - Mowrystown, OH

"A buddy of mine planned a trip for 3 of us to fish Sabine lake with Captain Randy. All I can say is, "wow!" within 3 hours we had pretty much boxed out on specs. Good size trout, and we tore them up! Heck, we managed to catch many good size redfish in the process. Captain Randy put us on the schools repeatedly using his years of experience and vast knowledge patterns and technique. As for flounder... He delivered as promised. We managed to land around 7. There will definatly be more charters. Book this guide! Well worth it. Thanks captain Randy. See ya soon. You got us hooked."

- Tom M. - Lufkin, TX

"Wow! Captain Randy is the man! This was my first trip with a guide and it was well worth it. Randy put me and my two friends on the fish all day long. Beautiful trout , big reds and flounder. Full box of trout within two hrs. Best day of fishing I've ever had . I'm sore from setting hooks all day and I've got a freezer full of good fish. Had an absolute blast."

- Nick H. - East, TX

"My friend Jim and I fished with Capt Randy on Sept. 13, 2011. Capt. Randy's knowledge of fishing Sabine Lake is amazing. He does know where the fish are. We caught fish almost all day. We limited on Reds and did well with the trout and caught 2 flounder. The highlight of the day was on the last cast of the day. A triple and all 3 landed. It went like this: up at 4:45...breakfast...on the water around 6:30...first fish 6:45 and last fishes at 1:50 was a triple----PRICELESS. Thanks Capt. for a very memorable and exciting time. We are still talking and FBing with the pictures."

- Mel M.

"June 4th my son and I had a day fishing with Captain Randy. Had a great day with significant success with Flounder and Specs. Even though my son and I are ardent and experienced fishermen of this area, Captain Randy's knowledge of current conditions and hot spots made our day a success. His experience and skills were impressive and we each learned a few new tricks. Highly recommend Captain Randy to anyone from beginner to old salt. Will look forward to another opportunity to fish with him."

- Nolan W.

"ON MAY, 19th. THE WIFE AND I WERE ABLE TO FISH WITH CAPT. RANDY. I HAVE FISHED WITH HIM SEVERAL TIMES BUT THIS WAS THE WIFE'S FIRST. I MUST ADMIT CAPT. RANDY HAS MORE PAITENCE THAN I. THE WIFE IS NOT THE BEST CASTER IN THE WORLD BUT IN A SHORT TIME CAPT. RANDY HAD HER CASTING LIKE SHE WAS BORN WITH A ROD AND REEL IN HER HANDS. THE CONDITIONS WERE SIMPLY AWFUL, WITH WINDS AT 30 AND STRONGER OUT OF THE SOUTH EAST. WITH CAPT. RANDY'S VAST KNOWLEDGE WE WERE ABLE TO FIND A PLACE SOME WHAT OUT OF THE WIND AND LIMITED OUT ON VERY NICE SLOT RED FISH. THE WIFE HAD A BLAST AND I ENJOYED WATCHING HER CATCH FISH. IF YOU WANT THE BEST, BOOK CART. RANDY AND BE READY FOR A TRIP OF A LIFE TIME."

- J.L. - Waco, TX

"My father-in-law and I went out with Captain Randy Monday April 25th. Let me tell you, WE HAD A BLAST! The conditions were definitely against us (lack of bait moving, 30+ mile per hour winds, other boats coming into our spots, etc.) but Captain Randy put us on fish. We caught several speckled trout ranging from 17-20" in length. He was interesting to talk with, extremely knowledgeable, and patient(believe me…I probably got hung up 10 times and constantly had to re-bait). He offered me pointers and after a while I was casting like a pro and catching fish. My father-in-law and I are already getting our schedules together to book another trip in the near future (might bring the wife this time if she's lucky). Thanks again for a great trip!"

- Jacques G. - Beaumont, TX

"In my line of work I travel all over the country and have fished all over the U.S. and have found the captain to be one of the best guides I have ever dealt with.I have fished with Captain Randy many times now. I can honestly say that the man will do everything it takes to put you on the fish. Also if you fish the area you can always call him and he is not scared to give you any tips to ensure that you have a good day on the water also. If your looking to be lazy then you need to speak to someone else, because he will be on your butt about fishing and the only way to be catching is casting. I always have a great time with the man and highly recommend the captain to anyone thats looking to catch some fish and learn a lot about the area that your fishing in."

- Todd A. - TX

"Capt. Randy Foreman ONCE AGAIN ON JAN 13TH. I WAS ABLE TO GO BACK TO THE COAST AND MAKE ANOTHER WONDERFUL TRIP WITH CAPT, RANDY. WITH MY TIME SCHEDULE WE WERE ONLY ABLE TO FISH A FEW HOURS, BUT THAT'S ALL IT TOOK. IN NO TIME AT ALL WE LIMITED OUT ON REDFISH AND EVEN HAD A FEW REAL NICE FLOUNDER. THEN WE SPENT THE REST OF WHAT LITTLE TIME I HAD CATCHING AND RELEASING REDFISH. I PROMISE YOU WE CAUGHT AND RELEASED OVER 30 REDFISH AND LOST A BUNCH. WHEN YOU BOOK CAPT. RANDY BE READY FOR A FISHING TRIP OF A LIFE TIME AND A WEALT OF KNOWLEDGE. AS CAPT. RANDY IS FULL TIME HE KNOWS WHERE AND WHAT THE FISH ARE DOING YEAR ROUND."

- J. L. WACO, TX

"We never thought that we could catch fish in late December, but limited out in about 3hours on December 22,2010 with Capt. Randy. He was very patient with our (especially my) lack of ability to cast with his rods and reels and took the time to teach us. He was also very adamant about safety rules and that we do what he told us to do. He assured us that if we followed his directions we would catch fish and catch them we did. We had an enormous amount of fun by doing what he told us to do and following his simple directions we quickly hauled in our 25 redfish and had to return home. Of course after you have caught that many of those big fish you ARE TIRED!!! Redfish are great fun to catch because they fight and Capt. Randy is a great help to get your fish into the boat and get you ready to get your line into the water to get another one so you are not going to miss many of those beautiful fish. It was one of the most fun fishing trips I have been on in a long time."

- Lou Ann J.

"We fished for Reds for the first time with Captain Randy. It rained all day so hard we could not see shore line allot of the time and he did not stop fishing until we were done. We had a great time with him. I would recommend that you book a trip will him."

- A. Stewart - Ardmore, OK

"12-28-10. I fished with Capt. Randy for the first time. We started slow but it was a cold mourninig. Capt. Randy was not at all discourged. We countinued fishing and the next thing you know we had 12 red fish the boat. All aroung 5 to 10 pounders. Nice fish! We cought limit, 20 reds total. It was a great time. I recomend it to any one who wants to catch fish. If you want to catch fish call Capt. Randy, if you do not want to catch fish well, call him any way and one trip will change your mind. Capt. Randy knows how to catch them, listen to what he says and you will leave with your limit too. Thanks for the advice, the fish, and the best fishing around."

- Neil A. - San Antonio, TX

"WOW!!!!!! What a great family fun day. We limited out on reds in just 3 hours! That was not the most important part though...watching our 7 year old grandson get so excited about catching his first redfish made the whole trip worthwhile. His excitement was such fun to watch, however, it wasn't long until we all were catching fish and having fun. Capt. Randy's patience with our lack of skill in casting was amazing. He was an excellent teacher and even I soon became proficient in that. His concern for safety was also paramount. His skill as a guide was evident in the number and size of the redfish we caught. It was a thrilling day for our family. Who would have thought a day in December would have been such a perfect fishing day. We will definitely be returning to fish with Capt. Randy."

- The Johnsons

"Randy's quest for big bull reds is the most fun you can have on the water legally!!! The only problem with catching 10 lbs big reds is those pesky 4 to 6 lbs speckle trout getting in the way. I guess that's OK too! No Louisiana boat ride, just straight to the "special" spots that hold big fish. Cap'n Randy dedication to put you on fish is one of the best experience you have to appreciate. Thank you very much for taking care of my dear friends Greenhorn Steve and Mad Clyde."

- Tall Tony

"Captain Randy really knows his fish after setting us on them he had a few tips to get the fish in The boat. The whether was nice for a Dec. day. I think Captain Randy is the best guide you Will ever find in south east Texas. If you are ever in southeast Texas Captain Randy is the MAN!!!!!"

- Brain P. - Charlotte, NC

"We had the pleasure of fishing with Captin Randy on 11/21/2010. We caught 36 flounder in about 3 hrs. we were around several other boats and waiders but with captin Randys instuctions on just how to work the lures we were catching more fish then anyone around us. my girl friends daughter 11 year old Kaitlynn had never ben fishing this was her very first time to even cast a rod Captin Randy took the time to teach her exactly how use the gear and she caught as many fish as the rest of us. SHE LOVED IT!! Thanks Captin Randy I know kaitlynn will never forget her first fishing trip and neither will I."

- Kenneth P. & Kaitlynn T.

"Here are two pictures from the trip on 11-20-2010. Thanks for the great trip. You took the time to make sure that I was able to understand how to fish and why I should do the things that you knew would work. I have fished for about 10 years and had some experience but the way you explained the specifics of flounder fishing taught me some things that will allow me to be a better fisherman overall. I look forward to the next trip with you and will recommend any of my friends that are looking for a great trip to call you."

- Charlene W.

"November 24, 2010: It has been 4 years since I fished with Captain Randy but was able to go flounder fishing with him last Sunday. It was a great catch and so much fun! My brother and his 10 year old stepdaughter, Katelyn, came along, and we limited out. As always, Captain Randy instructed us on how to catch the fish. Even though there were other boats all around us, no one was catching as much as we were. Captain Randy let us fish while he netted - the three of us were catching flounder so fast that he could barely keep up with his job on the net. This was Katelyn's first fishing trip and she caught as many as my brother and I. Fishing with Captain Randy is the best R & R for a working girl. Can't wait to go back! I am going to ask Santa to give me another trip with Captain Randy for Christmas!"

- Angela

"November 20, 2010: For my 50th birthday my mother and wife booked a trip with Captain Randy. I have fished with several guides over the years but none of them took the time to teach. Captain Randy made sure that we were going to catch fish but took the time to explain how to more effectively catch fish on virtually every cast. What he gave us was a really great experience for a day but also knowledge for the future fishing trips. Even though there were other guides in the area, none of their clients were catching fish like we were. It was the knowledge and experience of Captain Randy that made the difference. And yes, we will fish with him again!"

- Jason W.

"Nov.7,2010 My husband and I booked a 2 day guide trip with Captain Randy. Thinking we would learn more about fishing and of course get on some fish. I have so much to say about our experiance with Captain Randy. Go on this trip with him and listen to what this man is teaching you.He knows his sh** as he would say.You will learn what you need to know and more on fishing. You learn about tides, bait, birds, what feed off of what, water movement, wher hot spots are and sooo much more.He will make it clear, also the consideration of other fisherman on the water. After all said and done have a whole new appreciation and knowledge on fishing.Your not out there fishing if your not out there hunting the fish. Our 1st day was education.2nd day we cream aided the fish.Reds 19,Spec 9, and a flounder.Captain Randy from the Wincklers thank you, thank you.You inspired us in many ways.We had a blast and experiance of a life time.FISH ON!!!!!!!"

- Shantell & Keith W.

"Hey Captain, just thought i would let you know we had the greatest time today. When the day first started I was kind of worried, with the front that had moved in. Then after we got on the water the wind started blowing and there waas three to four foot swells on sabine lake. Then you said we couldnt fish the lake i just knew we wasnt going to do the best... You told us we would catch fish and that we would come home with at least twenty fish. If anyone knows anything about saltwater fishing after a front, and with the wind that bad fishing aint going to be the best. But thanks to Captain Randy we came home with twenty-two fish, (not including the ones we didnt get in the boat) Captain Randy knows his stuff not only does he know where to fish, he knows how, and the baits to fish. I had never been fishing with Captain Randy, but from now on he wil be the first person on my list to call. Captain thanks for such a great time, for putting us on the fish."

- Chad T. James T. & Mark M.

"We fished with Captain Randy today (10-12-10) and had an awesome trip! I have fished Saltwater a few times before but have never caught a redfish... something I have always wanted to do. Thanks to Captain Randy, I got multiple Reds and a mess of specs too. He put us right on the fish. Thanks to Captain Randy for a memorable day of fishing!"

- Mike D. - St. Louis, MO

"It was a wonderful fishing experience on your boat. My son and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My son will remember the fishing lessons you have given him for a long time. I am looking forward to having the pictures emailed back to me and seeing them on your website. Thank you again for the fun trip you provided."

- Mohammed A.

"I've been fishing before, but typically we bank fish or fish from canoe's and always with bobbers. My casting was laughable, and I never caught more than perch & catfish, but I always enjoyed "lazy" fishing. Captain Randy caught me off guard at first with his directness, but I learned quickly that he knew what he was talking about and if I followed his instructions, I'd catch me some fish! He took the time to show me how to use the spinner reel, how to cast (not like the girl I am), and how to properly reel 'em in when I managed to hook em. I was the only girl on the boat and I caught the most fish that day. I caught 3 Redfish, one of which was a good 10 lbs - 26"! I also walked away with 3 nice sized Trout. The boys got a few each as well. We got a lot of fish, and had a great time doing it! Thanks, Captain Randy, for teaching a girl to fish! ;)"

- Krista - Houston, TX

"We fished with Captain Randy on 08/10/2010. This was our second trip. Just like the first Captain Randy put us on the fish. While the bite was slow, by following Capt.Randy's tips we had a chest full of specs to 6 lbs. My Grandson, and two son in laws had a great trip. If you want the best, go with Captain Randy."

- Anonymous

"I fished with Captain Randy 8/1/10. If you want to fish with someone fun and have a great day on the water, then you need to fish with Captain Randy. If you want a guide that will work hard for you and show you how to catch fish, then he is the MAN!!! I have fished with a number of guides, Randy is one of the most knowledgeable guides I have ever fished with. Capt. Randy will always be honest and up front with you and you can take that to the BANK. GO FISHING WITH CAPT. RANDY & YOU WILL HAVE A FISHING DAY TO REMEMBER."

- CLH - Madisonville, TX

"I went fishing with Capt. Randy on 7/20 for my birthday. I had a great time! We started off the morning catching trout after trout and several redfish. Capt. Randy not only puts you on the fish, but also explains the reasons why we are in a spot and why we are using a certain bait. He never quits and wants his customers to be 100% satisfied with his services. His equipment is also top notch. He is an excellent guide for the beginner fisherman to the professional angler looking to learn Sabine Lake. I can’t wait until my next trip with Capt. Randy. This was the best birthday present I have ever received and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves fishing!"

- Jeff S. - Port Arthur, TX

"We went fishing with Captain Randy 6/19/10. What a great experience! Captain Randy told us if we would listen to him and follow his advice, we would catch fish. He spoke the truth! It was an amazing trip. It was our first time using artificial bait. Captain Randy guided us through his techniques and in no time we were fighting trout and reds, pulling them in. We had our limit on trout by 8:30 a.m. and ventured on for reds. We loaded up on reds also. He knows the lake, knows the birds and continuously put us on the fish. Like any true fisherman, he had plenty of fish stories to share when there was a slack moment. There was plenty of advice on fishing tackle - what to buy and where to buy it. Thank you, Captain Randy for a really memorable trip. I have never caught so many fish in such a short period of time. We will be seeing you again soon!"

- LGM - Groves, TX

"My name is Marla Anderson and over the 4th of July I had the opportunity to fish under the instruction of Captain Randy..... I have fished before but noone ever really took the time to show me how to fish... My idea of fishing was stick the pole in the water and wait for a bite... Captain Randy is the first guide to ever really teach me to fish by myself with a Rod and Wheel.... At first I thought he was joking when he was seriously telling me what to do... Quite frankly I didn't think I could do it.... He spent 2 hours with me just on instruction alone.... Captain Randy is an excellent fisherman, Guide and instructor..... I caught the biggest fish on my boat....... Everyone on the boat had been fishing many more times than myself so that was really exciting for me..... I would never have caught that fish without Captain Randy........ I am so excited about my new sport and being able to meet the best guide I have ever had.... Now I know how to fish..... He not only knows how to make you better, he knows how the birds think why they do what they do and how to read these beautiful creatures and let them tell him why and where the fish are.... You will never be with a better guide and if you want to learn why the fish do what they do and how he finds them you will know why he is the best........... Thank you so much Captain Randyt........ Oh and you can see the Fish I caught on his website...... My family was very proud of me that day, and a little jealous..... hahahhhaha....."

- Marla Anderson - Coppell, TX

"JUNE THE 20th. I ONCE AGAIN HAD THE PLEASURE OF FISHING WITH CAPT. RANDY. THE WEATHER DIDN'T CO-OPERATE AS IT WAS RAING AND THE WIND WAS PICKING UP. BUT BEING THE TRUE PROFESONEL HE IS WE DID CATCH A BUNCH OF SPECLED TROUT AND RED FISH UNTILL THE LAKE JUST GOT TO RUFF TO FISH AND WE WERE FORCED OFF THE WATER. THE WORD QUIT IS NOT IN HIS VOCABULARY AND HE TRULY LOVES AND KNOWS HIS JOB. CAN'T WAIT TILL THE NEXT TRIP."

- J. L. WACO, TEXAS

"At the insistence of Luis and Lorenzo Benevides, My son Ryan( who had never been salt water fishing) and I met the guys in Port Arthur the last weekend in June. We set out early and were fishing in the birds for a good part of the day. Storm squalls were chasing us all over creation and generally we were not having much luck. We caught a ton of undersized Trout early in the day. Then toward noon Randy's jaw clenched and I saw this look of dogged determination on him. After that he was on a mission. We ended up on the grass banks with the kid's casting their butts off and a beautiful Red hit my son's line and I had warned him about how they fought and I thought before he boated him he might give up but the thrill of that catch and the look on my son's face made my day. The kids caught the majority of the fish that included Good Reds, Trout and Flounder. Randy was not going to give up and is truly the hardest working Guide I have ever fished with. This man is all about customer satisfaction. We're going back later this summer or early fall and get after them again. It's a long way for us to go from Dallas but I know this man will get you on fish."

- Rick and Ryan Baldelli

"This was the third trip my son and I took with Captain Randy and what a blast! We've been out twice in March with Randy and got a box full both times. We had the opportunity to go here in June and decided to invite some friends. Of course we bragged on Randy for weeks before the trip and prepared our friends for a great fishing trip. Randy did not disappoint. As usual he entertained us with a lifetime of fishing stories and personal experiences on the waters of Lake Sabine. Raised on that lake and taught at an early age by his father to fish, you won't find anyone around with a better understanding of the lake. His experience and knowledge of how to find fish is remarkable. Wether your a sportsman, need a corporate outing or looking to create a family memory Captain Randy is your guy! His goal is to send you home with great stories and a cooler full of fish... We caught a lot of fish and Randy went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. My friends can't wait to come back!!"

- Luis & Lorenzo Benavides. - Plano, TX

"YESTERDAY JUNE THE 23 I ONCE AGAIN HAD THE GREAT PLRASURE OF BEING ABLE TO FISH WITH CAPT. RANDY. THE WEATHER DIDN'T HELP ANY. WE FISHED IN THE RAIN UNTILL IT GOT TO WHITE CAPPING TOO MUCH. BUT AS USUALL CAPT RANDY WAS ABLE TO BUT US ON SOME NICE SPECKS AND REDFISH. WE STILL MANAGED TO CATCH A REAL NICE BUNCH OF FISH. CAPT. RANDY, THE PROFFESIONAL HE IS, NEVER QUITS. IF ANYONE IS CONSIDERING FISHING LAKE SABINE THE ONLY GUIDE TO DEAL WITH IS CAPT. RANDY. BUT BE READY TO FISH BECAUSE HE DON'T GIVE UP UNTILL HIS CUSTOMERS ARE HAPPY OR LIMITED OUT. HE IS THE BEST THERE IS ON LAKE SABINE, SO KEEP IT IN MIND."

- J. L. - Waco, TX

"My wife, son and I fished with Captain Randy 3-18-2010. Great trip, completely trouble free. Captain Randy has amazing backlash patience and the ability to untangle a mess! On a difficult weather day he put us on fish; moving until we found them. Highly recommend using Captain Randy and we will again."

- Steve and Jane H. - Kingwood, TX

"My brother and I went fishing with Captain Randy on 1/27/2010. We caught 3 nice redfish and 12 trout. The big one broke my line and got away, but we had nice time. It is always a good day when you can go fishing with a professional like Captain Randy. Everything was handled in first class manner. I would highly recommend him. We plan to go again soon."

- Enoch Morrison

"It’s all in presentation, as Captain Randy quoted several times and PRESENT he did. Not only did we catch a boatful of reds and spec’s we enjoyed the company of a “one of a kind” guide. The most unique and pleasurable guided trip we have ever had. Captain Randy knows how to present your party with fish, knowledge of the fish, hospitality and friendship. He is a natural for putting you on the fish and makes you feel at home the moment you step on the boat. He is as colorful as your surroundings and will fish as long as you want to fish which is a rarity in itself. There is nothing he won’t do to make your trip a pleasurable experience. We both sleep in the great T-Shirts he gladly offered at the end of the day and every time we slip into our shirts, we both thank God for the beautiful memories he provided us with. First class is an understatement for our Captain Randy!!!!! Here’s to more memories and soon we hope!"

- Kay Thurman and Betty Chardin

"I had a great fishing trip Sunday in spite of the solid fog. Captain Randy put me right on the redfish all day. He even let me catch the biggest fish."

- Harry G. - Beaumont, TX

"THIS LAST NOVEMBER I HAD THE PLEASURE OF BEING ABLE TO FISH WITH CAPT. RANDY ON LAKE SABINE. AND WHAT A GREAT TRIP IT WAS, WE CAUGHT NUMEROUS REDFISH AND FLOUNDER. I WAS BORN AND RAISED THERE AND FISHED LAKE SABINE BEFORE MY WORK FORCED ME TO MOVE IN THE EARLY 80'S. I WAS SURPEISED AT HOW MUCH THE LAKE HAD CHANGED DUE TO THE STORMS. BUT NOT CAPT. RANDY, HE KNEW EVERY NEW CUT AND CHANGE THAT HAD TAKEN PLACE. THE WHOLE TIME WE FISHED CAPT. RANDY WAS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR SIGNS OF MORE FISH. IF YOU EVER WANT TO FISH LAKE SABINE CAPT. RANDY IS A FULL TIME GUIDE THAT WORKS THE LAKE AND THE ONLY MAN TO EVEN CONSIDER BOOKING WITH. CAN'T WAIT TILL I CAN RETURN AND DO IT AGAIN. IF YOU BOOK WITH CAPT.RANDY BE READY TO FISH AND CATCH A BEAUTIFUL MESS OF FISH."

- J. L. PATIN - WACO TX

"Myself and seven of my good friends booked a trip with Capt. Randy for Nov. 20th and 21st. Capt. Randy called the day before and gave us every chance in the world to cancel because of the weather (cold, rain, and wind). We informed him that we were committed and coming on anyway, and I am so glad that we did. To make a long story short the weather gave us a break on Friday and we landed a total of 92 specks and 36 reds. We did get washed out an Saturday, but if it hadn’t of been for Capt Randy’s knowledge and know how we would not of done what we did. Capt Randy worked his tail off to make sure we stayed hooked up as often as possible. I would recommend Capt Randy to anyone wanting to go to Sabine Lake and catch fish, and we are all looking forward to our next trip. Thanks again."

- Mark, Royce, Ken, Big Lonnie, Buster, Mike, Tom, and Brandon - Longview, TX

"My buddy and I have fished with Captain Randy four times now and each time we have had a great time. We have limited out on big reds, had Texas slams and countless number of good size specs. Captain Randy is easily the best on Sabine and knows how to work the birds like a pro. Any guide can find the birds but Captain Randy can put you on the fish and keep you on them, we stayed on a group of birds for over two hours once as he skillfully maneuvered so we would stay in the fish without spooking them. Finally, if you are a fisherman from another part of the country like I was and need to learn how to fish in-shore/salt then there is no better teacher from how to rig your line to how to read the birds properly he truly is a master at is his trade and is highly recommended. If just for fun or if you are looking to learn and improve your fishing skills Captain Randy will exceed your expectations."

- Ross J.

"We fished with Captain Randy on Nov 7, 2009, and it was a great trip. Started under the birds and got some nice Trout for the first few hours. This captain really knows Sabine Lake, we moved where the fish were constantly. Moved onto some shell reefs for drifting and picked up more nice Trout, even bigger. Than we made some great drifts along the shore and picked up 7 Flounder and 2 beautiful Reds, with more throwbacks. Lots more large Trout on these drifts also. If you want to fish Sabine Lake, fish with Captain Randy, you will definitely come back for more trips later. This man knows the lake and he will fish hard for you. Don't plan on coming in at lunchtime unless you get worn out or limit out by that time, he'll keep fishing as long as you want."

- Randy S. - Fulshear, TX

"My Dad and I went out with Captain Randy. I guide myself and am always looking for tips on the right way to do things and critique fellow guides pretty heavily. I was impressed with the knowledge Randy possesses about the history of the area and the lake as well as the dedication to fishing. What stuck out to me was that he fishes on his day off. The enthusiasm that he brings to his craft is certainly refressing. I highly recommend using him for any and all of his services. We cannot wait to come back."

- Jay Spencer

"How can you top a FANTASTIC trip in March ??? You come back in October and do it again !!! We fished our hearts out in March with Captain Randy under the worst conditions of rain and wind only to " box out " every day all three days with 62 lbs of fillets going home!!! This trip we brought a new fishing buddy that we bragged to about the "Professor" Captain Randy and his Adventures on Sabine lake. I am sure my new fishing buddy was a little skeptical on the whole ordeal. Once on the water however, fishing over birds, he was bit by the big red bulls and large speckled trout. He was amazed how much of a difference the reds fight than a good old bass in Kansas. What a trip this time with clear skies and lots of fish to be caught. I personally would like to thank Captain Randy for showing a good old bass buddy a great time on them big old red bulls off the beach. If your want a Texas or Louisiana boat ride go with the"other guides" If you want to learn from the professor and catch a lot of quality fish than call Captain Randy, He will be sure to please!!!"

"My wife and I were in Beaumont for a mtg and I called Capt Randy to arrange a trip for us and several others. He took care of everything. He arrange for the additional boats and everything went off as planned. The boats and tackle were all good quality and Capt Randy and the other captains were very competent. We all caught fish and had a first class time. Capt Randy took care of the fish for us as it was several days before we heading back home. He cleaned, packaged and froze the fish for us and then brought us the fish the morning we were leaving. When we get back to that part of the world I will certainly work in another trip with Capt Randy."

- Steve and Georgia

"Wow!! What a trip. A couple of my fishing buddies booked a trip with Capt. Randy back in March and were planning another one for October. After bragging about how much fun they had and how many quality fish they caught, I was convinced to join them. By no means was I disappointed. Capt. Randy is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced guides I have ever been involved with. His personality and his ability to share what he knows about saltwater fishing is incredible. Our group of three did a catch and release for three days where we caught over 200 fish, 80% being in the 2lb to 12lb class. Capt. Randy put us on fish all three days and we wore ourselves out catching them. Thanks again Capt. Randy for a great trip and we look forward to doing it again soon."

- Big Ron, Tall Tony, and Mad Clyde Kansas/Missouri boys

"My dad and I went fishing with captain randy last monday and it was great. He was very professional and helpful. He showed us the proper techniques, and who to find the fish. We ended up doing very will with 2 20+ redfish, a trout, Drum, and some spanish mackerel. We will be using him again."

- Herman G. Gerhardt

"A great big THANKS to Capt. Randy for the unbelievable trip. I was a bit apprehensive at first because my son(10) and my mother-in-law had never been saltwater fishing. We had a wonderful time.

Capt. Randy was very patient in teaching us how to use the spinning reels and he put us on fish almost immediately. The looks on their faces when they each caught their first fish of the day were priceless. My mother in law even taught Randy how to use two lures instead of just one. LOL

I think Capt. Randy had as much fun as we did. Especially the attention he was getting from the other fishermen...we had pink coolers and pink hats. They laughed at first....but we had the last laugh when we were pulling 'em in left and right and they weren't even getting a nibble. 1/2 day trip....29 trout and 3 reds.

I recommend to anyone to use Capt. Randy, in fact, we are planning an "all girls" trip soon. Betcha can't wait......."

"Fishing with caption randy is a once in a life time experiace. The bite was not on but captian Randy made sure we caught fish. Yes we caught fish and a lot of them, but it was not a easy day of fishing we had to work all day to catch the fish that we did. We started fishing at 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. we had a few hits right away in the morning and caught one fish, we kept on fishing as hard as we could and would not give up all day. Captian Randy took us to one last spot and told us "if the fish don't bite here boys the fish just don't want to eat, and if they don't want to eat this is our last spot". We fished that spot and just killed them. In that last spot I caught a once in a life time fish and it was a 9 pound spec trout! Long story short if you want to catch big fish you need to look up Captian Randy if the fish don't want to eat they don't want to eat! Your dealing with the best fishing guide in the state of Texas so deal with it and have some patience. We look forward to fishing with Captian Randy here this weekend. Good luck fishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Captian Randy cant put the fish on your hook but you can put the hook in your fish!! We fished in dirty water hope for clean water. Caption Randy can't project the weather!"

- Cody H. - Reinbeck, IA

"I have known Captain Randy for years. Even before he started guiding full time. I just never saltwater fished until last year. I thought well I will book a trip with Captain Randy and let him teach me and my boys all about saltwater fishing. I knew Randy was well known in this area for saltwater. I called him late last year and he told me then to wait until March to book it. Randy told me anyone could catch them at the time of year I called him but come March would be a different story. So I booked it for March and what a trip. He told my sons "if you have plans for later today call them now and cancel it because we would be all day out there so he could show me where, how and when to fish and later in the day we would really get serious about fishing". He is unbelievable on the amount of knowledge he has on fishing Sabine Lake and ship channel. My sons enjoyed the trip as much as I did. They had a great time and Randy took time to show them the correct way of casting, presentation of the bait and how to reel in the fish once you catch them. When we get on fish he would net the fish get them unhooked and tell them "hurry up make another cast let's go catch some more" . We did not limit out that day but the quality of the fish was outstanding. Captain Randy thanks a lot and I will be back and hopefully next time we will "BOX OUT" on specs, reds and flounder. But as Captain Randy puts it "even if we do not box out I rather be out fishing than anywhere else".

Again Randy thanks for the tips and folks he is not bashful at all to tell you where to catch fish. He wants you to come back on your own and fish places he has told you to fish. I when you book with him he will give you plenty of places to go and tell you what time of the year to fish it. He is not like most guides that want to keep places a secret and he is always looking for new places to catch them.

Great job Captain Randy. The boys loved being with you it is an experience they will never forget.

Thanks"

"Hoooo Weeee!! What a fantastic time we "Three stooges" had with Captain Randy!!! What we thought was to be the worst weather and fishing for the three days we were there turned out to be three days of exciting action ! Captain Randy gave us a lesson on cold rainy day Sabine tactics and the hunt was on ! Three days of 30 big fish keepers per day WOW ! My arms will take three days to recover . Captain Randy's dedication to his clients is something that is hard to find anymore . Please be sure to ask him about his new technique when a big "red" is on your line and he will help you get it in the boat. We call it the "RANDY" !!! It is sure to please you . Once again we want to thank you Captain Randy for a great time you have provided us" three stooges"in overcoming the odds."

- Tall Tony, Mad Clyde, - Kansas City, MO & Big Trout Mike - Atlanta, GA

"What an experience! I was hoping to have a fun memory for my son and brother, but we got so much more! We had a great time, caught a lot of fish, and got an education of a lifetime. Captain Randy doesn't just take you fishing. He's a teacher... we've fished plenty and been on many guided trips but Captain Randy's Guide Service was top shelf. We learned casting techniques, how to find fish and what baits work and why they work. Rod action with easy to learn instruction. From the initial phone call to the final handshake with fillets in hand, Captain Randy did everything he said he would do and more. He'll put you on the fish! It's your job to get em in the boat. Keep your bait in the water, be aggressive, keep your bait moving. If you listen to him and do exactly what he says you'll catch fish. Nice fish, we ended up with 14 reds and 17 spec's. Four of our spec's were 5 pounders!

Thanks Randy, You got us! We'll be back this summer!"

"In a little known area of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur, Texas is a surprise in a very small package. Captain Randy’s Guide Service is where you want to be with your Corporate Fishers. Randy Foreman is a Professional Licensed Boat Captain by the United States Coast Guard and is one who puts your clients and professionals on the fish. He accommodates both small and large Corporate Groups. Rain or shine, Captain Randy is out on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, the Neches or Sabine River or Sabine Lake providing his undisputable service to the fishers who travel to this prime fishing spot of Southeast Texas.

I’ve been privileged to fish with Captain Randy’s Guide Service several times in the last few months. Yes, fishing was tough but Randy knew where the fish were. It was then up to our Corporate Group to hook, boat and box the fish. We began quite earl y in the morning, taking advantage of the tide movement and before noon most of the Group was ready to call it a=2 0day, with each having their legal limit of the feisty Redfish. Upon suggestion of our Captain Randy, one of our boats chose to stay and practice a bit of “catch and release”. Glad we did as we had more fishing stories and a bonus of fun to tell about our trip with Captain Randy’s Guide Service.

You can enjoy this Professional Service too, just give Captain Randy a call and he’ll put you on the fish."

- M. Miller

"Captain Randy Foreman is a GREAT guide. If you have taken lots of charters and guided fishing trips like I have you would agree that this fisherman is out there for all of the right reasons.. He knows the lake like the back of his hand and will find fish no matter what. I highly recomend his service to anyone who wants to catch fish, learn about a remarkable fishery and end up with a new and good friend. Thank You for a GREAT fishing adventure!"

- The Wheelers

"Our group hadn't been fishing in quite a while and the trip with Capt. Randy was a great return. He was extremely knowledgeable on the signs to look for to find fish and when he found them, we caught them. The entire day was enjoyable and we look forward to returning to fish with Capt. Randy."

- Dean, Lillian, Jeremy, and Trinity - Houston, TX

"WOW! What can I say about our trip. Early November and a little concerned the way the morning started but Captain Randy pulled us through. He taught us a lot about the Sabine Lake area. We ended the day with 6 Reds, 15 Specks, and a Flounder. That's right the TEXAS Slam of saltwater. We had a great time and a great fish fry when we go back home. Thanks Captain Randy!"

- Russell McDonald - Tyler, TX

"Cap’t Randy is the Greatest! We fished August 14, 2008. A great family trip. My son-in-law is now a convert to salt water. My grandson was catered to and taught valuable lessons in fishing technique. All in all we had a great time. The catch was 45 specs with 10 over 5 lbs. and 6 flounder with one over 6 lbs. Cap’t Randy is ready for all contingencies and we will book with him again. Thanks for a wonderful trip."

- Regie Pierce - Vidor, TX

"Four of us went out with Capt. Randy at the beginning of July 2008. We all had a great time and caught lots of fish. He is a great guide and we hope to be able to fish again with him in the near future. These are photos of the four of us along with the photos of my husband, David with the big fish of the day. Tim had a bigger one on the line but lost it getting it in the boat."

- Cherry Myers - Dallas, TX

"I enjoyed the fishing trip yesterday on Lake Sabine and the Gulf of Mexico with Captain Randy and my friend Jan. He put us on the fish at the Rigs and we had lots of fun. He instructed us on what we needed to do and the fishing was on. Be sure to listen to him and your fishing adventure will be one to remember!!! We caught a total of 14 Speckled Trout and a few catfish that we did not keep. There were a few sharks out there also and one that decided he wanted one of Captain Randy's trout. We had a blast and my husband will be going with me next time also. We will be planning a trip once I come back from GA!! I can't wait to go again and get the "wall hanger" I've been looking for!!"

- Marcy Kramer - Orange, TX

"I had an amazing time fishing with Captain Randy on June 29. It was the best fishing experience I have had; I caught eight fish total, six trout and two catfish including a 24 inch, 5 pound trout. I was on a roll, as none of the other boats in our waters caught fish large enough to keep. Only Captain Randy knew where the fish were biting on Sabine Lake. I had a great experience and plan to fish again with Captain Randy on my next trip to Beaumont!"

- Grace Tolson - Dallas, TX

"Susan, Beau and I had a great time. Capt. Randy put us on the fish. We fished hard and long and were rewarded. As Capt. Randy says, "patience - you gotta' have it." Captain put us on the fish and went the extra mile. We caught red fish, sea trout and flounder. If you want to have a good time, catch fish and spent time with a good guide, give Randy a call."

- Bob, Susan and Beau T.

"My brother visiting from Ohio and me from Tyler spend a great day fishing with Captain Randy. It was our first trip to Sabine Lake area for fishing. Even though it was very windy and the tides didn't cooperate his expert knowledge of Sabine Lake put us on some great trout. We caught a 25 and 23 inch trout plus some smaller fish. We recommend if you want to catch fish and learn the lake book Captain Randy. I am planning to try it again later in the year."

- Joe and Bill M.

"Again Capt. Randy comes through for us at The Flagg Group Taxidermists! For some years now Edward & I and guests have fished up & down the coast of Texas at least once. But now with Capt. Randy, we now have found our honey hole at Sabine Lake. Not only does this man know the area like the back of his hand but works hard at it to. Last year (07) we had three very successfull trips and all having very special fishing stories. We just came off our first trip of the year this past Friday-April 25th and boy it was a good one. We did work for our fish but just take a good look at the photo section and you will see the end-reults. (Pictures of 23 1/2 & 24 1/4 specs) Capt. Randy looking forward in coming back very soon!"

- Edward and Roy W. - The Flagg Group Taxidermists - Dallas, Texas

"In my 40 years of fishing I have hooked a fish or two on lures and have always been a live bait type of fisherman. Capt. Randy has made me a believer of lures on my first trip with him. I caught more fish on lures then in my whole 40 years of fishing. Now this my second trip I did just as well Capt. Randy has made me a true believer of lures I have learned more about lures on this two trips then in my 40 years of fishing. Capt. Randy not only takes you fishing and if you let him, He will teach you more about fishing in eight hours then you could ever learn in a life time. See you soon Capt. Randy."

- Leo R. - Lewisville, Texas

"The Fishing Trip we chartered with Capt. Randy was fantastic Capt. Randy was very friendly and knowledgeable about his saltwater fishing tactics. I have currently moved away from Texas to Des Moines, Iowa I have Fished Port Arthur as a kid never caught a Red drum until I chartered this trip with Capt. Randy. I am an avid Outdoorsman, and thought I knew a lot about fishing I learned more on the fishing trip with Capt. Randy in 8hrs of fishing than I had in 26 years of fishing. I would love to book another trip with Capt. Randy next year."

- Charles W. - Des Moines, Iowa

"Great trip Captain Randy. You put us on fish in less than ideal water conditions. It was a trouble free trip and you are a guide I will recommend without hesitation."

- Steve H. - Houston, TX

"My son and I would like to add ourselves to the list of EXTREMELY satisfied clients of Captain Randy. We fished Friday, March 14 in less than ideal conditions [ west wind, fog, etc]. The Captain was able to put us on fish and insure we had a great time on the water. I've fished a lot of waters and enjoyed this day with the Captain as well as any. His 110% effort is not just talk, he lives up to it. We'll most definately return to spend more great time with Captain Randy and highly recommend his services to others."

- Larry C. - Kentucky

"If you want a guide that is going to work for YOU, find fish and have a good time you need to call Captain Randy. I came down from Dallas met and my friend from Houston on Feb 29th to fish with the Captain on March 1st. First I have to tell you that I have never had a guide call me and say, maybe you need to wait a week cause the water is muddy etc. But the Captain did and we appreciated that but we were kind of committed. Well we met Captain Randy on Saturday and let me tell you the sun was not shining. Fog so thick you couldn't see the front of the boat. We waited around, then attempted to navigate in the fog. We met at 6am and didn't get a line in the water till about 10am. Well, most guides would have brought us back to the pier around 2 cause that was their 8 hour trip. Well, not Capt Randy. We stayed till we had a full fishing day AND fish in the boat. It was after 6 and good and dark when we got back to the pier. BUT we got a day's fishing and we caught fish even if the water was muddy. A tough day for a couple of 68 year old Aggies but we had one heck of a time. I cannot recommend Capt Randy any higher. I've had a bunch of guides over the past years and Capt Randy is right up there at the very top. Call him now and have a durn good time. Oh, and when he recommends a place to eat GO THERE! Best seafood I've had in a while!!"

- E. Schroeder

"We would like to thank Captain Randy for an extremely fun filled and relaxing fishing trip held on Saturday 23, February 2008. Captain Randy fulfilled our expectations and superseded them. With his exemplary knowledge of the local area, and his decisive diligence to ensure a fun filled maxed out fishing trip, I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in his fishing adventures. We will be sure to give Capt. Randy a call again to enjoy yet again one of his fishing adventures!

Sincerely, extremely satisfied, and thankful for a wonderful day,"

"Breakfast and lunch -$15
Beverages for the day -$8
Fishing licenses -$64
Full day Guided fishing trip for two with Captain Randy -$400
Watching Captain Randy give my son fishing tips and catching a LIMIT of REDS –Priceless!!

What a great day my son, Bryan, and I had on Sabine Lake last week. I called Captain Randy and scheduled a guided fishing trip on Sabine Lake. I had never fished Sabine Lake but had heard a lot about it and wanted to give it a try. I told Capt. Randy that I was bringing my son who was home for the Holidays from Texas A&M. My son loves to fish and I wanted him to experience fishing for Reds if at all possible. Capt. Randy told me he was up to the task and was confident he could put us on some Reds and that is just what he did!!! A limit of Reds for the three of us. Captain Randy knows what he is doing, is very patient, a good teacher, and has a lot of great stories to tell. All of this made the day very special for me and Bryan. One thing is for sure, we will be back with Captain Randy in the Spring for limits of Reds and large Trout!"

- Jay & Bryan – Cypress, TX

"My friend Ross & I decided late Friday afternoon that we wanted to go fishing on Saturday and catch some trout and reds on Sabine Lake. So I did a quick Google search and came across Capt. Randy's Guide Service web site. I figured that there would be no chance to book a trip this late in the game, however after speaking with Capt. Randy, he said come on down. This was the first time I used Capt. Randy on Sabine Lake and did not know what to expect. However, I felt confident in his abilities, knowledge, and experience to put us on the fish based off the testimonials other anglers posted on his web site. Capt. Randy promised me that he would give us 110%.

Our experience with Capt. Randy was EXCELLENT and we felt that he gave the 110% he promised and then some. He is very down to earth and has a true passion for fishing Sabine Lake and its reputation and operates his guide service with honesty & integrity. Capt. Randy showed us what baits to use, explained why they work best with the current water conditions and offered many other fishing techniques for the various areas we fished. By mid day, we landed every fish we hooked and Capt. Randy called us the 100% club. As it turns out, we finished the day with the title. For those anglers who are looking for a fishing guide to fish with friends, family, or clients then look no further than Capt. Randy's Guide Service. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family and I'm looking forward to my next guided fishing trip with Capt. Randy in 2008.

Great Times...Great Laughs...Creating Lasting Memories while catching fish on Sabine Lake!

Thank you Captain Randy!"

- Derek - Houston, TX

Two old friends and I went fishing with Captain Randy on December 19th in Lake Sabine for Bull Reds. This was the first time for me to fish for Reds or any other fish for that matter since I left my home state of Washington almost 20 years ago. I must say I was not disappointed. By the end of the day I had my limit of Bull Reds all within 20-22-inches and between 5-7 pounds each. Catching Reds was the most fun I had since I had caught King Salmon out of the Pacific Ocean so many years before.

The best part of the trip was that Capt. Randy told us what to expect, what we were going to do, how to use the equipment, and how to fish and then you were on your own all of course under his watchful eyes. What a job he did knowing exactly where to fish, how to fish and how not to loose your fish once you caught one. He gave just enough advice and encouragement to all but never so much that you thought he was overbearing. The best part was that if you did do something wrong he would correct you…. and in every case he was right.

All three of us had a great time fishing, the weather was perfect, out of the three of us we caught 11 great sized Bull Reds and 2 flounder. Even better yet was that Capt. Randy cleaned and fillet all the fish at the end of the trip.

If you want to go fishing with someone that knows his business Captain Randy is the fishing guide for you.

- Dean Johnson

"For the last two years I’ve made several trips from Fort Worth to Lake Sabine with my brother and sons to go fishing with Capt. Randy. He is a well organized guide. We have always caught fish, a lot of fish. Capt. Randy offers no excuses. "The fish just arn't bittin’ today," has never been said by Capt. Randy. Capt. Randy says fish eat every day. He just has to find them. He’s looking for the birds. He’s checking the wind and those old reefs where he has always found fish. He knows the lake. No one tries harder to find fish. When the action slows, he’s moving on to another proven spot. Every stop we’re catchin’ few. . . . Red Fish, Drum, trout and an occasional flounder. By the end of the day we have buckets of fish. When the day is done and your tired and worn out, Capt. Randy starts cleaning those fish. When Capt. Randy filets a fish there’s not much left for a poor old stray cat. I’ve never known anyone who likes to fish like Capt. Randy. If you can only get your fishin’ buddies together for a couple of outings a year, I highly recommend giving Capt. Randy a call. All you have to do, is show up, and keep the bait in the water."

"On Wednesday, November 14 my dad and I had a fishing trip planned with Capt. Randy. We were trying to squeeze in one day between work. Randy had told us to come on down because we'd catch some fish. So, that's what we did, Randy took us out and we got to fish under the birds for our first time. Had a ball! Caught a pile of specks and reds. Not that you have to catch a pile of fish to make a trip, but it sure makes it nice. I asked a lot of questions and learned a good bit. Hopefully we'll have time in the future to make more trips because it was a great experience for us. Thanks a lot."

- Ethan

"Well, fishing was tough but we still wound up with a nice mess of trout and red fish that my kids will enjoy eating the Sunday, Nov.11th. Curt and I do not define a big bunch of fish as making our trip to Port Arthur as a success. Several factors decide our trip being successful or not. 1. Did I catch more fish that Captain Randy? Yes!!!! 2. Did I catch a bigger fish than Captain Randy? Yes 3. Will Captain Randy ever admit that the speck rigs outfish the Plastics? Don't know. These questions are what make Curt and I coming to Port Arthur every few weeks to fish with the best guide on Sabine Lake. Also, I want to put in a plug for Ramada Inn. It's a great place to stay and they have a wonderful breakfast. Schooners cant be beat for great steaks and fresh seafood and Luby's still servs the best liver and onions on this planet. Randy, practice with the speck rigs before we come back and maybe you can keep up with the old guys. Best wishes for good health and good fishing."

- Pete M.

"My husband and I booked our first saltwater fishing trip with Captain Randy Foreman on 10-18-07. It was a windy day and Captain Randy had to use his knowledge of Sabine Lake to safely put us on fish. We caught 14 reds (three in the 25 to 27 inch range!! Each of us had a 10lb. or better Redfish on at the same time, and 24 Speckled Trout (several in the 2 to 3 pound size). It was a circus and just whetted our appetite for another trip!!! Captain Randy made a point of making sure I caught fish, as well as my husband, and made me feel welcome and comfortable on his boat. I lost my cap, I lost one bait, but he never lost his patience. Thank you Captain, we have great memories and highly recommend you! You'll be hearing from us again."

- Margo and Ed E.

"Two weeks Captain Randy organized a corporate outing for our leadership group and we are still talking about the great time we had. >From the moment we arrived, and met the 3 other fishing guides we knew we where going to have a great time. Captain Randy worked hard to find the fish and made sure everybody was able catch fish. He is truly the real deal. Thanks for the great day for our corporate outing and look forward to doing it again."

- Garrett E.

"I came down to spend some time with my parents and my dad booked a trip on the lake with Randy's charter service. It was awesome! He kept in constant contact with us before the trip to make sure our weather conditions were good on the morning we would be going out. When we met up with him at the dock, he was was extremely charasmatic and eager to teach me how fish for Reds and Speckled Trout. When we headed out he helped me to identify where the fish were by looking for the birds who were feeding on the shrimp near the surface. He was able to easily put us ontop of the fish and my Dad and I had a BLAST! I caught my first redfish and it was a 27 incher! All together we caught 29 trout and 6 redfish! Thank you so much for the great trip! I would deffinately recommend him for a fun experience to all of my friends who visit and to my family members who live in the area!"

- Meredith and Benard Colvin

"Trip Aug 31 - Great fishing, when we did as Capt Randy advised, we caught fish. Enjoyed the day. thanks for putting us on the fish. My son-in-law and friend enjoy the trip and are still talking about the fishing trip. I will be glad to refer other customers to you."

- Joe L.

"Second trip of the year to Sabine Lake and what a trip. Morning started at 4:00 am to be at the dock with Capt Randy by 5:00 am. The amount of boats trying to get on the water was just amazing. At first we thought fishing wasn't going to be very favorable for us this Saturday morning August the 11th. Boy were we wrong! Almost being the last boat leaving dock at 6:30 am you would definitely wonder if there were going to be any fish left for us in the water. No more then one hour later we're in the middle of schools of trout all around us. What a ride!!!!! it turned out to be a hell of a trip, 60 fish on board not counting all the ones that got away, bad hook ups, coming off or just some large enough to brake lines. 19 fish out of the 60 averaged 3 to 4 pounds or so, eight one gallon bags of fillets. On behalf of The Flagg Group Taxidermists - Dallas, TX THANK YOU Capt. Randy, we are looking at our calendar for our fall trip as I'm writing this e-mail. See You Soon Captain."

- Edward & Roy

"I got my wife a fishing trip for her birthday with Captain Randy. We had so much fun and caught tons of fish. Everyone around us had a few fish in their boats, but on our first day there was not a moment that went by that we were not having bites. We caught over 18 fish the first day and some really good ones on the second day. Randy puts you onto the fish every time. We will definitely be going again soon."

- W. Moss

"Randy we had a great day, Fished the rigs and found Trout a few Spanish Macks and a 6 lb red fish. Randy I liked your honesty; you said we would have to work for the fish because of the fresh water. Well You made a day of going from rig to rig and we put our limit in the boat. My family had fun. The drive from Canutillo TX ( El Paso) was well worth it."

- Wilbert, Sandra and Brandon R.

"I've been on two fishing trips with Capt. Randy. The first one was about four to five years ago and the recent one was in July/07. I would like to say that I've learned a lot about fishing from Capt. Randy. He taught me much more than I can imagine anyone teaching me. I've always had the impression of any guide not telling you their secret techniques or secrets spots....but Capt. Randy did not make me feel that way. I can not express enough on how priceless the knowledge Capt. Randy has given me.

On the first trip...it was very windy and the lake was not calm at all. Capt. Randy took us on the South end of Lake Sabine on the Louisiana side. Even though the weather was not that great we still caught fish. He always had more than just a plan B or C when situations change. We ended up with a few flounders and a red.

The second trip was a little different. We were heading out for an offshore trip when we encountered some problems and had to head in. We all were disappointed including Capt. Randy. He then told us to wait and went home to get his lake boat to take us on a lake trip instead. We were all satisfied because like I said earlier....he always had an extra plan ready. We worked the jetties and hit 20+ specs averaging 3-5 lbs and a red. After returning to the boat ramp....Capt. Randy took our pictures and cleaned our fish.

I would like to say that Capt. Randy is a very professional and down to earth caring guy. He knows this fishing area because this is his home and he would welcome anyone to it that respects it."

"My grandfather was down from N.Carolina and we had talked about going fishing for 15 years. I knew this trip needed to be a good one, so I stepped up to the plate and called a guide. I got more than I expected. Capt. Randy put us on fish over and over all day long despite unfavorable conditions. If I had gone on one of my usual wade/bank fishing excursions, I would have gone home empty handed that day. Not only did we catch a number of good fish that day, Capt. Randy showed us how. I learned more effective techniques in 9 hours than I have in the last 5 years of fishing alone. Capt. Randy even managed to get my cousin hooked up with a trout as long as my arm, and he doesn't even fish. He just kept putting us in the right spot, and teaching us how until it happened. All my cousin kept saying after that fish was, "Dwight, you gotta take me to get a rod after we get home". Now that's what I call success! Thanks for turning, what should have been a miserable mosquito/hardhead feeding session, into an awesome day on the water."

- Dwight S.

"Connor, my 8 year old son, was so excited after catching his first fish - and what a first fish to catch! We are from Las Vegas so we definitely needed some lessons in the fundamentals of fishing. Captain Randy taught us those fundamentals and we were good to go thereafter. Captain Randy knows what he is doing and I would recommend him to anyone that wants to catch fish at Lake Sabine."

- Kevin N.

"I would like to thank Captain Randy for a wonderful day on Sabine Lake. I am a Rookie in regards to this type of fishing and Captain Randy took the time to show me the proper techniques used in catching Trout, Redfish, and Flounder. Captain Randy was very patient in explaining the reasons why you use certain techniques and presentations, as well as the different types of bait to use. I guess I should also mention we filled up an icebox with fish using his methods. As a bonus, Captain Randy gave me some examples of baits to purchase so that I may go out and try this type of fishing on my own.

Thanks again Captain Randy and I look forward to our next trip together. How about the Jetties or Offshore?"

- Scott S.

"On 6/8/07 my brother and I went fishing with Capt Randy for Red fish and specs. What a great time we had. I was down on vacation from Colorado and wanted to do something like that. There was 2 guys and 4 hours of fishing later we had 30 fish in the cooler. I was down from Colorado and enjoyed it. I will tell everyone that maybe heading this way to go fishing to give Capt Randy a call. I will be back down in the fall or spring with our other brother and we will be there. Capt Randy Thanks for a great trip."

- Lee Davis

"After limiting out on our first two trips with you I figured we were in for a water haul this past Wednesday. The weather looked bad but we decided to come on down because we knew we would have a lot of fun trying. Needless to say you found a way for six people to catch over 100 specks, three flounder, and two keeper reds. I must confess that I did not help ot that much on the total fish count, but I did catch the best trout in our boat. Our two new fishing buddies are looking forward to coming back soon just as Curt and I are. Regards to you and Mike."

- Pete

"We fished with Capt. Randy on May 20, 2007. Our group consisted of two adults and two kids. The day was very windy but Captain Randy still was able to put us on fish. We caught 3 nice reds, 2 flounder, and a mess of specks. The kids had a great time as did their dads. Capt. Randy really knows Sabine Lake and is an excellent guide. I would highly recommend him, especially if you aren't familiar with Sabine Lake. He has vast knowledge of how to navigate and fish the lake and loves to pass his knowledge on to others. Also, Capt. Randy really cares for his clients On our trip he even assisted with a minor medical situation. Thanks for the great trip."

- Dave and John

"Fished with Capt. Randy 05/12/07 - party of four all caught fish. Randy chased down the birds, and made every effort to find fish. All enjoyed the trip out. The fried trout is very good. Will book again. Thank's again Capt."

- J. Long

"In just a few words I can let any one out there know if you are a serious fishing individual call Captain Randy. In all my private & group trips I've made to the Texas coast I've never seen a person so dedicated like him. He's very knowledgeable of the Sabine waters, comfortable boat, excellent fishing equipment but best of all very patient & friendly. Fishing was hard on April 27, 2007 but the Captain never gave up, we had to fight the elements but at the end of a 10 hour trip we had fish in box. This was the first trip of the year for us at THE FLAGG GROUP - Taxidermist Company. Captain sent back to Dallas, TX two happy & satisfied fisherman. We are looking forward in re-booking a trip for this coming fall of this year. See you soon Captain."

- Roy & Edward

"Randy, thanks again for another wonderful day on the water. Curt and I decided that this trip was more fun than the November trip even though we caught more fish in November than we did yesterday. This time it was more of a challenge yet we got our limit of good flounder and had a beautiful day on the water. Thanks again, and don't forget about using that split-shot ahead of the flounder lure. Let us know when the birds start working. Best fishing to a good guy."

- Pete

"We had a great time fishing with Captain Randy. He was so understanding about our need to reschedule due to an accident and led us to a time when we could catch fish. The experience was awesome."

- Shari A.

"We booked a trip with Capt. Randy on 23rd of March. We had a great time even with wind blowing. Paid attention to his instruction and you will catch fish and have a great time. He worked hard to keep us on the fish and made sure things went right, this trip produce 20 specs. 1 flounder 1 drum."

- Alex & Ron

"The ease of booking our trip on the internet was great. Your follow up calls to confirm - and to update us on the weather were surely appreciated since our time in Port Arthur was limited to one day and we certainly had a changing set of weather patterns! When we couldn't get a room close by in Groves you jumped right in and got us the two rooms we needed. Your recommendations on the best Boudain and a great place for dinner were right on target for us.

Then there was the fishing! When we met at our hotel I knew we were in for a great day of fishing. We were unprepared for snacks, refreshments and ice but that was no problem. Introducing us to the areas best boudain and a local grocery we were then set to go. It is very clear you know where the fish are and what is needed to catch them. It was like falling off a log - all you needed was to do it! The speckled trout were hungry and willing and I was glad to take a break or two between snagging another trout. We did pretty well that day!

I also have to mention how much Amy and I appreciated your knowledge of the history of the area when we asked about the Civil War and the recent and current history of the area.

All in all it was a great trip you planned for us and we thank you very much."

- Henry & Amy

"I just got back from a fishing trip with captain randy. My father came in from out of state so I wanted to take him fishing for trout and redfish for his first time. I am not very familiar with the area but was told to book a trip with captain randy by some friends of mine. I can honestly say that the weather was not trying to help us out and since it was a winter trip I did not know what to expect. However after being on the water I realized that we were going to have a good trip. Captain Randy made sure that we not only found fish but also that we got the full amount of time which we had paid for. When the day was said and done we had caught 27 keeper trout and 3 keeper redfish, which was more than we could have asked for. I will definitely be booking another trip with captain randy in the near future and I would like to thank him for a good time and a job well done."

- Brett M.

"For my husband's 30th birthday, I wanted to treat him to something special and that he loves. I knew that a fishing trip on the Texas Gulf Coast for speckled trout and redfish was the perfect idea. What I didn't know, was where to start. After researching several guide websites, Capt. Randy stood out. From the first time I dialed his number, Capt. Randy was eager to earn my business and more importantly, to make the fishing trip for my husband a good one. Not only was he eager to earn our business, but he was an honest fishing guide.

On our first trip in October, the weather unexpectedly turned sour while we were out on the water. He spent the next 7 hours trying to improve our catch. Capt. Randy was honest enough to commit to an alternate trip because of the unfortunate weather situation. We rescheduled for a few weeks later and the weather cooperated. We caught 13 speckled trout, 2 redfish, and a few sand trout. Again, even though we had caught several fish, he kept trying to improve our catch and gave us a full 7+ hours on the water. If you are looking for a Texas Gulf Coast fishing guide that is honest, enthusiastic about his job, an EXPERT angler, patient teacher, someone that will put you on fish, and a great sense of humor...look no further, Capt. Randy and Sabine Lake are the right choice."

- Grant & Ashley Reese

Dear Randy,

Curt and I had a great time fishing with you and I feel badly about having only one of the pink trout rigs. I bought more today so the next trip you will be able to keep up with the old man. Anytime you take out a sixty-nine year old kid with an eighty-three year guy and are able to keep them in the boat I believe that proves your outstanding guiding ability. Three red fish and a limit of specks was almost as much fun as being with best guide on Sabine Lake. Hope to see you soon.

- Pete

"I just got back from a fishing trip with Captain Randy and went on his web site to look it over. A friend did the booking and took care of all that kind of stuff. I didn’t have a clue who was going to be our guide I just knew that we were going fishing. I read the testimonials and I knew how the people felt that wrote them. The weather was not the best, yes the wind was blowing, did it rain some, yes did he get us on some fish, yes. We caught some nice ones which makes for a good trip. But I would like to tell you what I saw in Capt. Randy. The gulf is his home; he grew up there and you can see his love for that area.

When going out fishing with him if you listen you will hear a man telling that he is concerned with changes in the laws that affect the limits on fishing, not that he is bitching but is working to make things better. If you look at him when he is telling about the storms that have come through that area you will see the sadness in his eyes of what was and is no longer. He looks at more than getting people on fish and making money. When we came in the second day he noticed a truck and trailer sitting in the same place it was sitting the day before and he wondered if the man had a problem, he looks at what is going on around him. If you just look at the type of weather we had and the fish we caught you would say good trip, me I look at the type of weather the fish and the man that guided us and I see a great trip. I believe him to be an honest man."

- LD S.

"This was our second trip with Captian Randy this year. We came back out on Sept 30th. Caught two beautiful reds, a few flounder, and alot of trout. What's wonderful is I brought my 7 year old out fishing again and as always Captian Randy is patient, courteous, and willing to teach him to enjoy fishing as much as we do. Thanks again for a great weekend."

- The Blairs

"I just fished with Captain Randy once again and we had a fair morning on speckled trout. Lunch time showed up so we had our sandwich then the lake slicked up and we found fish. We caught about a dozen good specs and 25 or so sand trout. A pretty good day of fishing huh? Well on the way back to the ramp Captain Randy saw something I would have missed. He stopped the boat said cast over there. In the next couple of casts we had 2 nice reds in the boat. Once again a pretty good day turned to a very good day on the water. Fished on Sept. 26th."

- Tony

"I have recently moved to Beaumont to buy a chain of ten 24 hour restaurants. I fell in love with the fishing here and I wanted to share it with my new management team. Captain Randy took out 12 men in July '06 and we caught 62 specs and flounder. The team bragged so much about the courteous and knowledgeable service that the female management felt they had to go, too! So we took out 12 women in August '06 and caught 59 specs and flounder. What a treat for the first time ladies.

Captain Randys' exciting and encouraging attitude really helped me with my TEAMBUILDING efforts. Thank you Captain Randy and I'm looking forward to our offshore trip soon."

- Tim O.

"We had a very nice day of fishing, Friday June 30th with Captain Randy, 21 trout and 5 triple tail were in the box at the end. All bait and tackle was furnished, including fishing tips, and corrections for bad form. All fish were cleaned at the end of the day by Captain Randy and one of our fishing partners, thanks Glenn. Perfect for me, hope to book a trip with my 8 yr old son in the fall. Captain Randy is a very personable guide willing the show you the best ways to catch fish and will put you on them. Thanks Captain Randy."

- Jamie D.

"I want to thank Captain Randy for making my first saltwater fishing trip a tremendous success, I have been a largemouth black bass fisherman my whole life and never would even consider any other fishing, but a trip presented itself for me to have the chance to go on a guided trip so I took it, after meeting Captain Randy I knew right off he was the typical good ole Texas boy we all like to hang with, it was a pleasure to meet and learn from him; I can tell anyone wondering should I take the trip; that you will catch fish and in the process learn the techniques needed to catch a variety of fish, I was glad to learn that it is technique that will catch a spec just like bass; Captain Randy had only top notch rod and reels, with a large variety of tackle to use, the conversation through out the day kept us all smiling, it was a full rounded pleasure, I will fish salt water in the future, time does not allow us to fish as much as we like so it is important that we make each trip a good one, Thanks Captain Randy for a good one."

- Jeff H.

"My father-in-law and I fished with Capt. Randy last week, and I'll tell you it was the best experience I've ever had with a guide. Randy is definitely a fishing guide, not just someone that has a boat and not a job, he takes this seriously. We met about 5:30am, and were on the water by 6:00, had our first keeper trout by 6:30. The fishing held up for several hours, one good trout after another. Once we worked the first spot over good, we moved into a couple of other holes and the action never stopped. Randy know the places to go, regardless of wind or current, if the wind changes go here, if the tide changes go there, and each time we moved we stayed on fish. Having lived in Beaumont for several years, I thought I knew the area, Capt. Randy has fished here for 30+ years, and when he says he is the best, believe him. We finished the day with a limit of 20-26" Trout, with some Reds and Flounder mixed in for good measure. I will definitely be going back for another dose of Capt. Randy's good fishing and good humor."

- Jamey D.

"I wanted to take my Dad on a fishing trip that would be memorable so I booked a trip with Captain Randy. We ended up having a huge amount of rain right before our booked trip so Captain Randy said that we needed to postpone the trip so that we would have a good fishing day, which I thought was quite commendable of him. So on the 23rd of July we set out on our rescheduled fishing trip. Being the exceptional guide Captain Randy is, he took the time to show us how to fish productively by catching the good fish and not trash fish. We caught 30 speckled trout and 1 red fish. No one in the bay or jetties were catching fish that day in those numbers (I think he called the fish on the cell phone). Captain Randy is a very personable and knowledgable fishing guide. Thanks for the memorable trip Captain Randy! We look forward to another one."

- Carl H.

"I am 71 years old and have been out with numerous guides from Port Aranasas to Lake Sabine. No one comes close to matching the great fishing day you will have with Capt. Randy Foreman. He knows it all, tides, wind, water color, following the birds, and most of all presentation of the bait. While other are not catching fish you will be reeling in your limit, redfish and trout. Yesterday we went out and caught our limit of beautiful 3-5 lb trout and were back in by noon. and that matches all the other trips I have had with this fun and knowlegeable guide. I have taken people out with Capt. Foreman who have never fished before and he had them fishing like pros in an hour, teaching them how to cast and present the bait. His patience is limitless. And to make the day even better, Captain Randy will send you to Kim's for a great Oyster, Chicken or Catfish poorboy to end a great day. Change the Quality of your Life, Fish with Captain Randy A real adventure you will treasure, always, and feel like a new person the next day."

- Bob P.

"We booked a trip with Captain Randy in June of 2006. We had a wonderful time even with the heat. We, including our 6 year old son, caught loads of fish. We couldn't have asked for a nicer person for the entire family. If you're looking for a true fishing guide, Captain Randy is the perfect person. He's very accommodating, and will do everything he can to get you where the fish are. We'll be booking another trip soon."

- Blair Family

"I have used other guides in the area and by far Capt. Randy is the best in the area. While I am not a novice fisherman I learned a lot from Randy. He was patient and understanding unlike some guides who are more worried about getting paid. We went out on a Sunday and there were a lot of boats on the water and in the area we were fishing, but that did not stop us from catching fish. We ended up with 20 trout in the box in only a half day of fishing. Can't wait to go fishing with him again."

- Kevin D.

"I would Like to tell other fellow fisherman about a trip I will not soon forget. The trip started out slow due to the weather catching some Gaff top and a 25 min. fight with a jack cravell on light tackle. We then move up into the Sabine Lake. Capt. Randy was determined to get my son and I on some fish and that he did. He showed us a lot of different technique’s that I was not familiar with. Even after fishing for 25 years. Capt. Randy is very knowledgeable and patient. My son and I had a great time we ended up catching some very, very nice speck’s on live bait and one big red fish. He has helped me with fishing Sabine Lake and we intend to book another trip. I highly recommend Capt. Randy for your fishing trip. This man has a lifetime of knowledge he will share with you."

- Roy H.

"Well this all started Sunday April 23, 2006 my co-workers and I meet a great person and not mention a great fishing guide. We meet at the landing @ 7:00 am and Captain Randy had us on fish by 7:45 am we took home 22 trout and left our mark on many more. Captain Randy is a man of his word he said he would put us on trout and he delivered. We all had a GREAT TIME and we are looking forward to our offshore trip."

- Woody and the James Gang

"For this first time in my life I got to go fishing in brackish water. Capt. Randy was the most awesome guide that anyone would ever want. We had been on the water less than 30 minutes and I had caught two ocean trout. That was the beginning of a wonderful day of fishing. I will and would recommend anyone that wants the great experience of fishing in this area to contact Capt Randy. I hope that in the not to far off future that I will again get to fish with Capt Randy and bring my sons with me."

- Bill C.

"I was recently in the Orange, TX area on a boiler repair job with my crew from Maine when we found ourselves with several days off due to scheduling. We began looking for ways to entertain ourselves when I found Capt Randy’s web site (we also found a brochure in the motel lobby) & decided to book a trip. Altough he was very busy, when he heard our circumstances he managed to work us in for a day of fishing.

We launched on Saturday morning even though the wind was extremely strong. Capt Randy first took us to an area partially blocked from the wind where he taught us a few fishing techniques & explained the tackle & our plan for the day. Then we were on our way. Even with the high winds we had a very good time. We all caught some fish (although a few weren’t keepers), saw a big alligator & several pink flamingos. Capt Randy was very patient & showed us a good time."

- The Bremco Crew

"Tough day of fishing so I thought. Is there really a tough day of fishing? Capt. Randy had us on the fish that were catchable. He worked for us and not for his money. I have to appreciate that. We caught around 20 fish and were real surprised at how hard some of those fought. I will look forward to our trip in June with Capt. Randy and the pleasure of being on the boat with him. He is truely a die hard fisherman who is looking for his customers best interest."

- Rodney H.

"My daughter(6 yrs old), son(4 yrs old) and I fished with Captain Randy and had an incredibly fun day. Captain Randy could not have been more patient or friendly with my children. We caught fish from the moment we anchored until it was time to head in. This was my kids first guided trip and they felt very comfortable with Captain Randy the entire time and could not stop laughing every time a fish hit the bait.

It is obvious Captain Randy knows everything about fishing this area and will put you on fish, but most importantly he is a fun guide to fish with and is very personable. I would definitely recommend calling him for any type of fishing in this area."

- Guy F.

"My heart skipped a beat when, on the VERY FIRST CAST, I felt a nibble and hooked a three pound trout!!! Nothing is better than that!!! I knew I was in good hands with Cap'n Randy! I hadn't fished for years and I he was very patient as I refreshed my casting techniques and reacquainted myself with the whole process. He was diligent in finding the best nooks for the best catch. I had a wonderful day and hope to return with my family soon! Thank you, Captain Randy! Can't wait to see the photo of my first fish in over 10 years!"

- Rebecca D.

"My name is Tony I fished with Captain Randy it was a very windy day, but a lot of effort from my Captain we managed to catch several good specs. The fish didn't start biting very good until about 2:30, but Randy stayed a couple extra hours to allow me to have much better day. I have fished with guides all across the country. Captain Randy didn't do like most and say sorry about the slow day and go back to the launch at 4pm he stuck it out and I appreciated every precious second."

- Tony

"To put it into prospective. “NOTHING FANCY JUST FISHING” would be my words for Randy’s guide service. He is a “TRUE” Fisherman. From the hand shake hello to the hand shake goodbye, Randy helped make a very memorable fishing trip for two of my friends and myself. I will rebook for another trip that is surely to be as memorable as the first trip. If you are new to fishing or a professional angler and looking for a memorable fishing trip, give Randy’s guide service a call, you will not regret it! The pictures do not lie!!"

- Charlie H.

"On Behalf of Corky (the big fish catcher), Tammy, Brian and Sarah, we had an absolutely FABULOUS time fishing with you. The crabbing was excellent also, I think we caught 15 crab on our poles, and had a wonderful crab boil at the end of the day. We all look forward to fishing with you again. THANK YOU!"

- Tammy N.

"I was very impressed with the knowledge that Capt. Randy provided during our recent day trip. I will refer him to all my friends and family when they are looking to fish in the Port Arthur area. I had such a great time fishing. Fishing artificial baits was a real experience and the equiptment we used was top notch."

- Greg B.

"My sons and I have booked two fishing trips with Captain Randy. Our first outing was great. Randy took us right to the hot spots. We all caught plenty of flounder, even one drum, but Red Fishing in the reeds was kick butt. Just like on TV. Captain Randy took care of everything, all we had to do was fish, fish, fish!!! He had all quality fishing gear, tied the hooks, netted the fish and showed us some fishing techniques using bait and plastics. When it was all said and done he cleaned the fish. That is why I booked a second trip for me and my sons.

On our second outing the first thing in the morning we netted bait; got porgie and mullet for speckled trout fishing. It was hit and miss on the bait, but Captain Randy didn't give up. After getting plenty of live bait we proceeded to the "HUMP" (the hot spot for specs). We nailed them!!! At one point my son fought a real trophy sized giant "Spec". Later on in the day the weather got pretty bad so we were forced to leave the "HUMP". I asked Randy if he had any Red fish holes that would be out of the rain. We proceeded to the Marsh and a new Red fish spot he wanted to try. We threw plastics for about twenty minutes and "Wham" my son hooks up with a 28" fish, his first. What a way to top off the trip.

I highly recommend Captain Randy. He knows how the make his customers happy. In fact I'm planning a third trip to the gulf. Thanks for the great fishing."

- The Californians

"Capt. Randy is a great fishing guide, put us right on the fish (trout), caught about 40 trout, kept 16 nice size from 20" to 26" long - nice fish, using live bait and we had a blast. Capt. does everything for you on the boat. Takes your fish off and re-baits your line and gets you fishing again thats good service. Capt randy is a real nice man and will be true to you if its a good day or not for fishing. Me, my husband, and grandson had a good fishing trip, and plan to go back soon. Next time we go will be for flounder. Thanks for great trip sir."

- Marvin, Debbie, Andrew

"Thank you so much to Captain Randy for a great 4th of July weekend. It was my granddaughters first time fishing on a boat and she caught the first trout of the day. We can't wait to come back; we learned so much from the Captain."

- The Moon Family

"Captain Randy knows how and where to get flounder. Other guides I've fished with discourage flounder fishing. They don't like catching or cleaning them. Captain Randy is just the opposite. He doesn't cut corners. He's equipped for flounder. He listened to what we wanted and gave it to us. I highly recommend Captain Randy."

- Dylan B.

"We had a fun and relaxing day with Capt. Randy. He was very helpful, charming, and took us to the fish. We caught the most and biggest reds we had ever caught. Anyone would have a great day fishing with Capt. Randy."

- Wayne & Lovera H.

"What a great time we had with Capt. Randy!! In spite of less than ideal conditions, Randy took us to his 'secret' spots and we landed over 20 trout and redfish!! The Captain provided us with high quality rods, reels and lures and kept us fishing without interruption by instantly providing replacements when we tangled lines or lost lures. Our party consisted of experienced and new fishermen; both which strongly recommend a trip with Capt. Randy."

- David B., Brent M., & Mike S.

"My wife and I fished with Capt. Randy in October 2004 for the first time. Not only did he put us on the fish in less than perfect fishing conditions, but the service he provided was exellent. Our trip would have been a great experience even if we had not caught any fish that day. We look forward to fishing with Capt. Randy this coming Spring."

- Craig H.

"I've fished with Capt. Randy 4 times now and on every trip we caught fish, and had a great time. He certainly knows where the fish are and is an expert on Sabine Lake. I was also very pleased that he was concerned for our safety when we experienced bad weather (electrical storm). He reacted quickly and had us all to safety in no time."

- Scott M.

"What a great guy and exellent fisherman. Everytime I fished with Captain Randy, he worked his butt off to put us on the fish. On top of that he always provides great fishing gear, tackle and everything else. I have fished with Randy for several years and he will work very hard for you and take care of anything you need."

- John M.

"We had such a great time and experience with Capt. Randy. We caught several fish on our first trip and for our second trip we went offshore. I was getting a little sea sick but Capt. Randy and his other guides helped me through it and I ended up having the best time. They took care of cleaning everything, cleaning the fish, and everything else. My husband and I are already planning our next trip with Randy."

- Dawn C.

"Hello Capt. Randy, I just wanted to thank you for great day on the water with my son Jake! He is very excited about going fishing again as soon as possible and can't wait to see the picture you took of us and the fish we caught. Thanks again."

- Ken D.

"I enjoyed two great excursions on Sabine Lake with Captain Randy in the fall of 2004. One, under less than ideal conditions, took us fishing for speckled trout in the ship channel. Despite the circumstances, his experience enabled us to catch a nice stringer of fish. A few weeks later I returned and enjoyed red fishing like you can only dream about. Thanks to his trained eye, we found ourselves in acres and acres of red fish in a feeding frenzy. Everyone caught their limit, with several over 30 inches being taken. I would highly recommend Captain Randy to anyone who loves to fish and appreciates a good guide."
